Calculator Coverage and Development
Our calculators are grouped into four major sections: financial, fitness and health, math, and others. All calculators are developed in-house, with some tools using open-source JavaScript components under their respective licenses.
More than 90% of our calculators are based on standard textbook formulas and equations (for example, mortgage and BMI calculators). For topics where formulas are debated, we provide multiple accepted methods so users can compare outcomes.
Review and Content Quality
Financial calculator outputs are reviewed by experienced financial advisors. Health calculator outputs and related content are reviewed by medical professionals.
Most descriptive content is developed in-house, with limited references to external educational resources when appropriate.
